Peter Tanner
A little History:
- Raised in Kelowna BC, Tanner learned the art of carpentry, drafting and tool making - "Those things I learned in high school paved the way for future explorations and studies in the art field. Kelowna is my home town and I had to move away for a few years in order to truly appreciate the Okanagan."
- During the 70's our photographer traveled North America working in the carnivals. During that time, he learned the art of Show painting (Signs and traditional carnival paintings).
- In 1980, an interest of photography would lead Tanner to study art at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, plunging him into the world of freelance photography and fine arts.
- In the 1990's the focus on art happened to be Laser Light Art - Roundhouse Laser Light show at the Planetarium in Vancouver.
*Always the explorer "I quickly learned that computers a practical way to keep track of images, cataloging, website management - Digital imaging an exciting medium with plenty of possibilities."
- In 2009 Tanner went back to college to study computers and earned a Comptia A+ Certification.
