Photos - Frames right and left: Making room - Two workers play havoc with jack hammers on the cement walls that once housed the Cliffhanger Rock Climbing club building at 106 West 1st avenue.

Center frame: A Volvo Crawler EC290 BLO with a cement hopper attached to the hydraulic arm. Domtar Salt Building in background.

Photos - A worker (center) grinds down the sharp edges of the cement ceiling in the third floor of the Millennium Water Condos on West 1st avenue in the Olympic Village Construction site. The cement bleeds through between plywood forms that make the floors and some poor soul has to grind off the sharp edges.

Photos - L-R - The Olympic Village construction site on West 1st avenue has more construction cranes concentrated in one area than I have seen in Vancouver in quite some time.

The Millennium Water sales sign with a bigger than life image of False Creek with the Vancouver City Scape - it looks like a perfect world that is being presented - all it costs is a paltry 450 Thousand to 6 Million to buy in.

A construction worker sweeps the mud off of the single lane pavement of West First avenue. No job, no matter how small, is left unaccounted. The Domtar Salt Building at 85 west 1st avenue undergoing restorations and renovations in background.
