Photos - Pipe Fitters apply and melt a thin plastic collar which joins two pipe pieces, with two propane torches to seal the pipe connection for the Millennium Water Condo water supply at the Olympic Village on West 1st Avenue.

Photos - A new Sterling Cement truck stands by on West 1st avenue while a worker climbs into a cement hopper to check the hopper's gate system before filling up with cement for a foundation in the trench next to it. The cement hopper is being hoisted by a Volvo Crawler EC290 BLO attached to the hydraulic arm. Two Olympic Village, Millennium Water Condos under construction in background.

Photos - Frames left and right: The Sterling Cement truck operator remotely controls the cement hopper filling while the Volvo Crawler patiently awaits completion before swinging the full hopper into the trench just to the north of the crawler to commence emptying into the construction foundations.

Center frame: An SD116 DX Roller made by Ingersol Rand built in 2006 - stands at the ready. This machine will effectively compress road building materials and construction dirt fill around foundations of the Olympic Village buildings.
