Photos - Visiting the eastern side of the Wooden Coaster (The Giant Dipper) I came across a group of plastic Ride-Test Dummies designed for one purpose: To be seated upon the seats of rides in order to replace real people for the purpose of safety inspection. There are special opening on these plastic dummies in order so that the dummies can be filled with water or sand in order to duplicate real riders which is indispensable when ride testing. The plastic dummies can also be replaced with bags of sand for testing purposes, but the plastic mannequins are more real to life.

Photos - Colorful graffiti outside the Leeside
Tunnel on the support walls for Hastings street overhead - These walls
face Empire Bowl on the north side of Hastings street at Cassiar. Mostly,
the work represented here is at best, quickly painted, hastily designed and
more spontaneous than the works inside the tunnel. That is because of the
City Of Vancouver keeping the walls painted over in a neutral gray paint.
Every so often though, the City stays away for a month or more and the graffiti
starts to get jumbled and messy. It has been at least since last Fall when
these walls have been painted over, so the accumulation is starting to get
interesting and the main works are becoming more complex.
