Corner grocery stores spread through residential neighborhoods providing a close and convenient shopping space before use-restricting zoning bylaws were adopted. Originally, this store was the Eureka Grocery before becoming the Arbutus Grocery and now the Arbutus Coffee Shop. This building features a Boomtown false front and attached dwelling in rear and above.
