Photos - This is an interesting farm along Highway 6 near Camel's Hump Mountain (center row, frame left). The farm has some unique features including an old hip-roof barn and tall silo (center frame in top row and center row). This farm is really Deep Creek Dairies located at 2164 Highway 6 consisting of 249 acres of farmland including hay land, good pasture land with treed areas which provides good shade for animals. This property has had up to 100 head plus calves on the land which is currently rented for $15,000/season ($1/day/cow). Quality cross fencing, 2 solid work shops, numerous corrals and a cattle chute, a covered feed alley, heritage barn, two picturesque ponds, 2 creeks (one is seasonal), a 3 bedroom mobile with an addition and a drilled well - all in a beautiful Mt. view setting with paved road access. The Seller may trade for property in Salmon Arm or finance. At the time of these photos, the dairy farm is for sale - BC Farm & Ranch Realty Corp. Photos - On the opposite side of Highway 6 there is another interesting feature to this location: A very old cabin with a front verandah that has it's roof sadly sagging and the roof quietly falling apart. It is located on the 2115 Highway 6 property. This and the Red, hip roof barn are what attracted my attention as I zoomed along the highway and both are definitely worth the stop to take a closer look.
