Photos - Frames left and right: Standing on Deep Creek Bridge and looking down at Deep Creek rushing by through its canyon at Monashee Summit.

Center frame: An unnerving experience of traveling across the very narrow Deep Creek Bridge. The bridge was created back in 1940 when Highway 6 was built when the Department of Highways had a little different idea on how the traffic flow would work.

Photos - Frame left: Nearby along Highway 6 at Deep Creek is a Mule Deer with a set of antlers just poking up through his forehead.

Frames right and center: Waiting for the Needles Ferry at the Lower Arrow Lake crossing and a boater hauls his recreational motorboat onto a trailer at the boat launching ramp beside the ferry slipway.

Photos - As we all wait for the ferry that sails every hour there are a few things to look at... like piles of logs that have been pieced together fro kind of a breakwater near the slipway terminus. Needles is located on Highway 6 on the western shore of Lower Arrow Lake, in the Kootenays region of British Columbia. Needles is the western terminal of the free Arrow Lake ferry, connecting with Fauquier across Arrow Lake.
