Photos - L-R - On board the Galena Ferry slowly making our way across Upper Arrow Lake to Shelter Bay under a clear sky and almost full moon.

Looking northwest through the chain of the entrance ramp toward the colorful sunset painted sky.

Shelter Bay Ferry at moorage in Shelter Bay. From here the roadway is paved and well groomed but the road hazards are typical for this time of day. Twice the ferry traffic had to slow down and stop for moose crossing the road, something to keep in mind when hurtling off into the evening at fast paced speeds.

Olalla is a small retirement-oriented community with approximately 300 residents, conveniently located on Highway 3A between Keremeos and Penticton in South Central British Columbia. Boasting a mild winter climate and spectacular views, Olalla's quiet nature belies its rich and active past.

Photos - Leaving the Monashee area behind to start a new trip along Highway 3A on the way to Keremeos. I've stopped here in the outskirts of Olalla because of the interesting log barn you see in center frame then began to notice something of a misfit in the environment. Keremeos Creek is normally a quiet little stream gurgling through the valley toward the town of Keremeos.
