Canis Familiarus - Diva the Dalmatian
Mary and her four leg friends Bear and Diva walking Bonnybrook Beach by Camp Byng on the Sunshine Coast near Roberts Creek.
Dalmatians are thought to have originated from the town of Dalmatia in Yugoslavia, just as the name suggests, but rather the breed is known to have been developed entirely in England, where crossings took place with the Pointer and later with the Bull Terrier. This breed of dog has a great affinity with horses and in times past accompanied its owners running under the carriage or trap.
