Digital Art - Ice Sculpture
A cold, sunny afternoon in City Park (February 28) beside the cement platform that was once part of the Kelowna Aquatic Grandstands.
The cold weather and wind has helped mother nature to sculpture many icy works of ice at the Okanagan waterfront in Kelowna City Park. Even the crows are getting annoyed that the freezing cold is lasting thus far into the new year. With spring just around the corner perhaps if everyone thinks "Summer" the weather might improve.
Corvus Brachyrhynchos (American Crow) - are large, completely black plumage that will shine with a purple sheen in strong sunlight. The beak and feet are black. The Raven is similar, but larger and has a deeper, throatier caw. Also the Northwestern Crow is similar, but smaller, usually found scavenging along seashore.
A work of digital art - March 03, 2011.
