Crassula Arborescens: Crassula Succulent

This plant was photographed in San Agustin Etla in January of 2003.

Most Crassula leaves are edible, keeping into consideration that one must not make a full meal of the plants as there are chemicals in the leaves when in large quantifies can cause stomach upset. The rule of thumb, that I go by, is that a small taste will not usually hurt (if you taste and spit the bit out with out swallowing), "If the plant tastes bitter and unpalatable, or if the tip of the tongue goes numb and tingly, don't eat it."
