Photos - Frames left and right: Top of an adobe wall with a layer of cement with shards of glass inset. The first time seeing this I was a bit shocked. Obviously, someone doesn't want people to stand, sit, or climb on the wall.

Center frame: A newspaper stand (Periodico Medero) on Madero near the train station.

Photos - Adobe walls at Barrera and Madero (frames left and center), and an 'inside the compound view' of the Castaneda Garage on Madero (an honest place to get work done on your motorvehicle). The shop has an incredible, large-sized graveyard of cars and trucks in the back yard where the shop can strip fenders or engine parts to be rebuilt. In this garage, they don't just replace a starter or generator with a new one, they carefully take your starter or generator out and re-wrap and repair it, then put it back in. No point of wasting, all of your car parts are recycled if possible. Things like spark plugs are taken out, cleaned, the gap reset, and reinstalled.

Photos - The many different faces of walls: An adobe wall with stone and brick repairs and cement mortar (left, a smooth and clean adobe wall with wrought iron decoration (center), and a huge stone wall on the right. The man with the stick of cotton candy is waiting near a school yard to sell cotton candy to children.
