The Haughton barn built in the 1940s is now
abandoned and used sparingly in rustic looking backdrops for
movies and television (as advertised in THOMPSON-NICOLA FILM
COMMISSION directory). This area is also popular with wildlife
enthusiasts desiring waterfowl viewing. The lake and grasslands
are about 15 miles south of Kamloops.
