Frozen branches - hanging down into Mosquito Creek in North Vancouver.

The slow splashing and freezing of gurgling water in Mosquito Creek has caused stream side branches to be frozen with icy jewels.

Mosquito Creek - North Vancouver: Mosquito Creek Regional Park Trail accessible by Marine Drive and Bewicke Avenue. The well kept trail heads north, running parallel to Mosquito Creek until crossing Queens road in Highlands. At this point the trail does a little dipsey doodle along Bewicke Avenue and Wayne Drive and picks up at the dead end to travel further north into the upper Delbrook watershed to Baden Powell Trail on Mt. Fromme - January, 2007.
