Leeside Tunnel - Fighting Kangaroo

An interesting cartoon-like character with putting up his dukes - this recent spray painting of an aggressive Kangaroo wearing boxing gloves is one of many new graffiti works that grace the walls of East Vancouver's skate board park. Leeside Tunnel is located under Hastings street bordering the Cassiar connector in Vancouver East side - if you look to the northeast from the tunnel entrance you can see Empire Bowl and the PNE grounds. This tunnel has for several years now, yielded some of the finest graffiti in the lower mainland. Spray paintings and stencil art, lettering and tags constantly changing and ever evolving into something worth while viewing.
