Lynn Headwaters dam Spillway
with warm colors of rock under water glinting with afternoon sunshine at
Lynn Valley. The old sluice gate assembly and dam for the Hydro power
the loggers used during the early 1900's. Now in rusty, broken condition,
this dam created enough hydro power to run the Cedar Mill - The Cedar Mill
was closed in 1927 and burned down in 1929 - there are still artifacts to
be found along the Cedar Mill Trail and Lynn Loop Trail that dates back
to the early logging history.
Lynn Headwaters - Late afternoon sunshine - May 29, 2007.
