Photos - Clack Creek flowing toward the Straight of Georgia where it empties into the ocean near Roberts Creek. The glowing spotlights of sunshine makes the mountain stream glow with yellows and browns are warm and inviting while the turmoil of white water and the dark depths of pools and rocks provides contrast.

Photos - L-R - Looking a bit like someone has thrown up beside the trail, Brefeldia Maxima (Tapioca Slime) so named because its resemblance to Tapioca Pudding. Touching this slime is an interesting experience. One would think that the crust is somewhat solid, but in fact is very fragile - when touched, the surface crust is easily wiped away to leave a cloudy white goo that looks a bit like silicone bathtub caulking.

A small waterfall over a fallen tree provides an interesting composition of lights and darks.

Looking down stream along Clack Creek at a slow moving section showing the rusty browns of a typical mountain stream.

Photos - Frames left and center: Runoff water can provide log jams of fallen trees and debris which can clog streams, but provide excellent places for wild trout and salmon to reproduce.

Frame right: At the end of our tour of Clack Creek Brook has an opportunity for a swing.
