Mushrooms

Botanical Glossary - Home

Looking a bit like dried Papaya, this mushroom looks like it might be realy tasty - It is edible, usually found singley or in small groups on the ground under conifers or on rotting wood. This mushroom is usually gathered more for texture and color than taste as the flesh is rubbery.

Phlogiotis Helvelloides - Apricot Jelly - Burnaby Heights Trail - Confederation Park, Buraby BC - Fall.
