Botanical Glossary - HomePlaya Mazunte
The points of land are the main attraction for these little Playas. With out the jetting out portions of land, you get a long sandy beach with nothing to break the wind and waves. (That's great for surfing, but your average person likes a big wave and a bath tub to swim in - a protected cove like Mazunte) Punta Corneta can be seen in the back ground.
