The border crossing at Brownsville Texas USA/Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico. Border crossings into Mexico are a hassle with a motor vehicle. We stopped for almost two hours here while the border immigration officials soaked us for as much money as they could. Luckily, my traveling partner knew a Mexican insurance agency that would handle the VW Westfalia van insurance while we traveled. They even soaked me $20 USA currency just to stamp my passport and sign the visitors visa. No use getting upset over it though, it's just business.
