The Ross Barrett Flowerchild band consists of Ross Barrett (vocals and Saxophone), Jack Velker (Keyboard and vocals), Georgia Hoppe (Soprano Saxophone), Joe Mavety (guitar), Bruce Mortimer (bass guitar), and Adam Drake on drums.

This photograph is from the August 16th Hippie Day celebration in Kitsilano, also known as the Summer of Love (41st anniversary). The day was extremely hot with bright sunshine with two band stages (one at 4th and Cypress, the other at 4th and Vine street) and a long row of vintage and custom cars on display. Fourth avenue has been blocked off early in the morning (about 9AM) for the installation of the stages and various booths from local merchants, from Burrard Street to Balsam Street, with a break for north/south traffic at Arbutus street.
