Mount Seymour Cool Down:
Using plastic garbage bags to slide on, these two young
ladies are still enjoying the heavy packed snow to slide down the Elevator
Shaft slope!
While all of us in Vancouver are starting to suffer with
the hot humid heat of Spring inside the cement jungle of Vancouver, its
nice to know that there are still cool places to go for a melt down without
jumping into a lake. There are still heavy snow areas in the upper Mount
Seymour ski runs and folks are visiting in droves with snow shoes, snow
boards and cross country skis.
Photographed on the Elevator Shaft ski run on Mount Seymour, North Vancouver, BC - May 31, 2009.
