The heavy snowfall has brought out the creative efforts of folks in the Victoria Drive area. Situated at the Victoria Drive and Venables intersection (across the street from the East Vancouver Cultural Center - 1895 Venables). The snowman is equipped with large rock-eyes, cedar bough belt and hair as well as cedar bough Foo Manchu mustache, a straw hat, and stick arms. The base of the snowman has been placed upon the raised median of the traffic calmed island blocking Venables street. We can expect rain this weekend to wash away the large accumulation of snow.
