Horsing around in Spanish Banks - Pedestrian path Spanish Banks in Point Gray - March 07, 2009.

I'm not sure this is kosher or not, but a young woman brought her horse down to Spanish Banks via truck and trailer with determination to go for a ride along Spanish Banks to Locarno Beach. As I watched this brave soul on an even braver horse calmly greet folks along the trail and stop for off-leash dogs to calm down I realized that this is a responsible rider that wont let anything happen to others riding bikes or walking. I think it's good to see really, as the trail specifies multi-user, it is very unusual to see a horse and rider enjoying the English Bay scenes. Some folks didn't know what to think of this rider action, but most took it all in good stride and stopped to say hello.
